Does the library have magazines?

Answer

The library currently subscribes to over 75 magazines and academic journals covering a wide variety of subjects and interests, including pop culture, entertainment, and lifestyle.

At CDC, the magazine section is located directly in front of the study rooms. At TDC, the magazine section is located on the back wall by the study tables. The most current issue of each title is located on the shelf while older issues are located directly underneath. These magazines are for in-library use only and cannot be checked out.

The library keeps a backlog of issues up to 5 years in storage. If you need a certain issue or article for research purposes, please ask a staff member for assistance.

In addition, the library also subscribes to a service called Flipster that provides access to digital versions of the magazines we subscribe to (plus many more). This can be accessed both on and off-campus, though you may be prompted to log in with your KCTCS username and password.
